Photos   Grey Phase Turkeys from Cearfoss, MD 2008 Taxidermy Award 2007 Terrace Mtn. Wheelin Event Susan, age 11, with her first Turkey she shot on Saturday, May 10th. while hunting with her dad on the PGC mentor program. Susan's turkey, a Jake, had a 4" beard and weighed 14 lbs. Susan shot the Jake at 30 yards with her Mossberg Bantam 500 - 20 Gage. Her family is having the turkey mounted for her. This was the second turkey called into Susan. The first one caused Susan to have such a severe case of Turkey Fever that she forgot to pull the trigger.
